The mansion belongs to a wealthy Chinese-Filipino family in Vigan – the Syquia clan. The late president Elpidio Rivera Quirino married Alicia Jimenez Syquia in 1919, thus the mansion was called the first Malacanang of the North. Years later the old name Syquia Mansion was restored. It is now operating as a museum showcasing the lifestyle of the late President. It is open from Wednesday to Mondays from 9:00 am to 12:00 nn and 1:00 pm to 4:30 pm. You can buy your museum tickets online at https://syquiamansion.org/ but you could also pay as a walk-in guest at P75. Here are some of the pictures I took of this amazing museum.
I will add more pictures once I converted the pictures from HEIC (default iPhone picture file) to JPEG. Unfortunately, Open Live Writer (the software I use to post blog articles) can’t read HEIC files.
